ADMISSION PROCESS

DETAILS

B Tech 

Based on JEE Main ranking through central counselling. The application process for B. Tech starts in May-June after the declaration of JEE Main and IPUCET results.

Students must register on the respective counselling portals and fill in choices as per their rankings.

M. Tech

Based on the GATE score and institute-level counselling. For M. Tech, the institute conducts its admission process based on valid GATE scores.

Students can apply directly to the institute in June-July.

BBA
Applicants are required to complete the 12th class in Arts/Commerce/Science from the recognized State or Central Board with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate).

The candidates must pass English in the 12th class.

For management quota admission, 80% of the academics in 5 main subjects in class 12th must be passed by a recognized board.

BA(JMC)

Applicants with a 50% aggregate in their 10+2 exams from recognized state and central government boards are eligible for BA (JMC) course admission.

Mathematics and English must be pursued as compulsory subjects at 10+2 Level.

For Management quota admission in MAIT, New Delhi, students must score 75-80% in four Class 12 subjects.

BA LLB
For BA LLB candidates must pass the 12th class from a recognized board and clear CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) 2024 conducted by National Law University.
B.COM
B.Com Direct Admission at MAIT Delhi under Management Quota 2022 requires a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Final admission is based on the merit of the written test/CET, with a management quota seat being more accessible with a score of 75-80% in Class XII.

B.A ECONOMICS
For BA Economics, applicants need 50% aggregate in XII class from recognized state or central boards with English and Maths. Admission is based on merit in written tests/CET. For Management Quota, 75-80% in 4 prime subjects in Class 12th is required.
MBA

A full-blown placement cell has been set up at the institute which caters to the placement activity for the scholars. The cell is directed by Brig. (Retired) S.K. Kakar, (Director, Career Development Cell), who selects the Placement Coordinator from every branch. The selection is based on their academic performance and is also rewarded in co-curricular activities. The appointment and training cell provides maximum process-related information obtained from companies through job descriptions. Subsequently, the placement team helps students to rewrite, prepare for interviews, and improve soft skills such as GD tips during course studies or outside agencies such as Time, Career Launcher, PT Education, IMS, etc. The appointment cell also Imparts training to the scholars for their overall development.

MAIT, Delhi has also focused on Entrepreneurship-Cell to foster and develop entrepreneurial skills among technocrats from different streams. To promote skill sets, this cell provides opportunities to interact, discuss, and work with the industry. A separate website and a fully equipped room in the Entrepreneurship Cell have been provided to students. Interested students can work in their free time in this room. Several events are directed by the college to boost entrepreneurship.
