Candidates willing to get admission in the B.Tech courses offered by the university are required to meet the IPU B.Tech 2026 eligibility criteria to participate in the admission procedure. Academic Requirements

Candidates should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination from a central or state board or any equivalent exam.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2026 will also be eligible for admissions

Marks Required

Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have also passed these subjects individually. Should have also passed English as a subject of study (core/elective or functional).

Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ Persons with Disability candidates will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks.

JEE Main

Should have appeared and qualified JEE Main Paper I.

Medical Condition

Blind (including colour blind), deaf and / or dumb candidates will not be eligible for admission in these courses.

IPU B.Tech Application Form 2026

The authorities has started the IPU B.Tech 2026 application in online mode at the official website. Candidates must fill out and submit the application form before the last date otherwise they will not be allowed to participate in the admission procedure. All of the required information such as personal, academic, and contact details has to be provided in the IPU B.Tech application form.

Step 1:

IPU B.Tech 2026 Registration – In the first step, candidates have to complete the registration process by entering the details like program group, program name, name, mobile number, email id, and more. Upon successful registration, credentials will be shared with the registered email ID and contact number.

Step 2:

Filling the IPU B.Tech application form – Using the credentials, candidates have to log into the account and click on “Fill Application Form”. All of the required details such as personal details, qualification details, and program details had to be entered.

Step 3:

Uploading documents – In the next step, candidates will have to upload the photograph and signature in the specified format.

Step 4:

Payment of application fee- After uploading the documents, candidates have to click on the “Preview” tab to review all the entered details. Click on the submit button. Once the application will be submitted successfully, candidates other than exempted categories will be automatically redirected to Online Payment Gateway i.e., via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking. A payment of Rs. 1200 had to be made after which a printout of the generated payment acknowledgment slip could be taken.

IPU B.Tech 2026 Exam Centres (Only for B.Tech Biotechnology)

The exam centres of IPU B.Tech 2026 consist of the venues where the examination will be conducted. The list of IPU B.Tech Biotechnology exam centers will be available on the official website. Since the examination will be held only for the Biotechnology course, the exam centers will be valid for only this exam. While filling out the application form, the candidates had to fill in their choice of exam centers. Details about the IPU exam centers will be available on the admit card.
