Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) was founded in 1999 by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), which manages a number of educational institutions. GTBIT is a degree-level technical institute accredited by AICTE and affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi. The University Grant Commission of India has recognized it following the UGC Act section 12B. Additionally, it holds an “A Grade” NAAC accreditation. With a large campus, GTBIT is situated in the heart of Rajouri Garden, New Delhi with amenities including laboratories housed in five large buildings.

GTBIT offers its flagship course B.Tech at the UG level in nine specializations. GTBIT provides the B.Tech course in two shifts. For admission to Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, candidates need to qualify for the IPU-CET entrance exam conducted by GGSIPU. Candidates must score more than 55% marks in their 10 + 2 exam or any other equivalent exam. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, manages the counselling process for admission to the institute.

Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) was established in 1999 by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC). DSGMC manages a host of educational institutes and conducts numerous religious and social activities. GTBIT is a degree-level technical institute, approved by AICTE and affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. GGSIPU was established by the government of the NCT of Delhi under the provisions of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act 1998, with an amendment in 1999. GTBIT has a sprawling campus and is centrally located in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. The institute has three spacious buildings and state-of-the-art laboratories. GTBIT, New Delhi Campus Life and Events

GTBIT is working to develop the holistic skills of all the students. Under this initiative, a project named “SPORTS FOR GROWTH AND PROSPERITY”(SGPP) was successfully implemented in collaboration with AICTE under the joint venture of the UKERI program commenced on 23rd November 2011. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of GTBIT, established in April 2010, formulates designing, implementing monitoring, measuring, and improving the standards of teaching, evaluation, and research activities. The Institute has an EDUSAT Lab with a seating capacity of forty. In this Lab, live and pre-programmed broadcasts of lectures are conducted

  • Library: GTBIT has a fully air-conditioned digital library that is rich in resources for learning, research, and general awareness. It is spacious, well-lit, and comfortable, enabling students to easily spend long hours in it. A rich collection of approx. 61,369 books & approx. 4600 (approx.) titles. The Library subscribes to 467 International Journals, 41 National Journals, 15 magazines and 16 leading newspapers
  • Hostel: The students can have a pleasant stay in a hostel; they have to stay there only until they complete their courses.
  • Food: The college only provides pure veg foods to their students.
